Virus Warning

We would like to inform you that in the last couple of days there were several attack-attempts to send e-mail viruses to the PERF Website and also to the eNewsletter data base. It seems that these attacks were unsuccessful so far. The viruses that the attacker(s) tried to send were:

W32.Mimail.A@mm

It is important to note that the sender's address is forged to look like it comes from PERF itself, which - obviously - is not true.

We would like to encourage you all that you keep the virus definitions in your virus scanner software up to date as this is the best way to protect your computer and also your friends from becoming a computer-virus victim.
